Brisbane Renovations Led by the Walls and Ceilings
Change the walls and ceilings and the room changes with them. We frame, line, set and paint every surface, all with the same team.
You are not lining up a carpenter, a plasterer and a painter in turn. There is one quote, one team turning up, and the rooms are cleaned once at the end.
Renovation Work for Brisbane Homes
A bigger bedroom, a new study, an open plan space closed in, or an old Queenslander room brought back to life.
Walls Added or Moved
New stud walls framed and lined to change how a room is laid out.
Ceilings Renewed
Cracked, stained or sagging ceilings pulled down and replaced with fresh plasterboard.
Doorways Changed
Openings framed where you want them, and doorways you no longer need sheeted over flat.
Bulkheads & Ceiling Detail
Bulkheads built around air con ducting, plumbing and lighting runs.
Queenslanders & Older Homes
Old walls patched and relined so they sit right next to the new work.
Final Paint on Every Surface
New and patched walls and ceilings sealed and painted by our own painters.
Renovations for Brisbane Homes and Businesses
Renovating is messy work, so covers go down before we start and the rooms are clean when we finish.
ResidentialHome Renovations
Living rooms, bedrooms, studies and rumpus rooms reshaped with new walls, ceilings and paint.
CommercialCommercial Renovations
Offices and shops reworked with new partitions, ceilings and paint.
Dust stays in the rooms being renovated, and those rooms are left clean.
Plaster Finish Levels for Your Renovation
Fresh plasterboard beside older walls shows any difference in finish. AS/NZS 2589 sets the levels of finish, and we suggest one for each room based on the light and the paint.

Level 3: Basic renovation finish
Joints and screws set. For garages, laundries out the back and storage.
Level 4: Standard renovation finish
The usual level for renovated rooms, with flat or low-sheen paint.
Most roomsLevel 5: Smoothest renovation finish
A full skim coat. For gloss paint, big windows or walls where light rakes across.

25+ Years Renovating, Plastering and Painting
Over 25 years in the trade. Framing is checked before anything is lined, so the finished walls sit flat and the paint looks right.

Renovation FAQs for Brisbane
Questions we get about renovations.
What renovation work do you do in Brisbane?
Renovations built around walls and ceilings: new stud walls and partitions, doorways, bulkheads, ceilings renewed, plastering, and painting to finish.
Do you handle the carpentry, plaster and paint together?
Yes. One team frames, plasters and paints, so each new wall goes from frame to final coat without a hand-over.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Brisbane Plaster Pro is QBCC licensed through MGH Contracting Pty Ltd (Licence No. 15576119) and All Paintworx Pty Ltd (Licence No. 15511709).
Is the clean-up included?
Yes. We cover floors and furniture before starting and take away the dust and offcuts when the renovation is done.
Can you renew a sagging ceiling during a renovation?
Yes. We remove the old ceiling, fix or replace battens where needed, line it with new plasterboard, set it and paint it. If the framing is structural, we will say if an engineer is needed.
Which areas do you renovate in?
The Redlands, Brisbane's Bayside and South East suburbs, the Logan area, the Western Suburbs out to Ipswich, and down to the Gold Coast.
Is a renovation quote free?
Yes. Ring (07) 3064 0686 or send your details and photos of the rooms, and we will send you a free quote.
